A new hiking idea every day

In Carinthia's nature arena, friends of hiking will find plenty to do on 1,000 km of hiking and climbing routes and 26 themed trails. One of the 5 geo trails of the region starts on the Nassfeld mountain. Lake Weissensee offers hikers relaxing spots to sit or lie in the sun. The areas of Lesachtal and Kötschach-Mauthen fulfil the desire for originality. Perfect for long-distance hiking are the ‘Karnischer Höhenweg’ (Carnic high altitude trail) or the newly adapted ‘Gailtaler Höhenweg’ (Gailtal valley high altitude trail). And after a hiking tour, the lakes Presseggersee and Weissensee tempt hikers to jump into the clean water (drinking water quality).
