The hiking village of Soboth is in itself a ‘green mountain’, with its deep-cut streams and a fjord-like mountain lake; the surrounding countryside is a great hiking area with gentle peaks above the tree line – and at the base the famous Styrian wine region. All types of hiking, from short to long and gentle to wild can be tried out here. Soboth is also a central point for many long-distance hiking trails and is the start and end of the ‘Koralm Kristall Trail’.
A lively village with a mountain lake that’ll sharpen your senses!
Apart from conventional hiking, the hiking village of Soboth offers a brand new experience: off-trail hiking. Off-trail hiking means discovering unspoilt valleys and gorges where there are no paths. The hikes take place around the Feistritz and Krumbach brooks. To do off-trail hiking you need to be physically fit, competent and responsible. Your reward is a very special experience.
