Fun with the gnomes in the Hochpustertal

The municipality of Sillian is the capital of the Tyrolean Hochpustertal valley. With 2,088 inhabitants, Sillian is the biggest village between the two towns in the Pustertal valley, Lienz and Bruneck. Approx. 1,200 beds at accommodation facilities – from farmhouses to comfortable 4-star wellness hotels – are available for guests here.

In addition to numerous hiking paths, the village boasts plenty of other infrastructure facilities in summer such as cycle paths, an indoor swimming pool, a tennis court, a sports field, a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground, skittle alleys and a lot more.

Day 1: Arrival and pleasant anticipation Tomorrow it will start – the adventure week in the Hochpustertal valley.

Day 2: MONDAY 10am: The “Family Nest” organisation welcomes you to the gnome park A morning to get to know each other, find new friends and start the holiday week with great games. 2pm: Wusel the water spirit at the Tiroler Bachl brook

Day 3: TUESDAY 10am: family hiking day 4pm: Schlosswand rock climbing adventure – try out climbing With the expert rock climbing instructors from the climbing school, even small children can learn how to handle a rope and a hook on a taster climbing session at the Schlosswand rock climbing area in Heinfels.

Day 4: WEDNESDAY 10am: All-day programme forest adventure & gold panning – In the morning: forest adventure in the gnome park At lunchtime: group barbecue 1.30pm: gold panning in the Wonky Tonky river We’ll set out on a hunt for gold and treasures and dress up as Red Indians. 8.30pm: evening walk with torches and lanterns (children must be accompanied by their parents) Walk by torchlight to Heinfels Castle Star walk to the Wonky Tonky river

Day 5: THURSDAY All-day programme: “Klara – the little herb woman” With adventurous games we’ll explore the nature in the Weitlanbrunner Waldele forest. 7.30pm: Mini disco Action & hot beats for teens from 7 years old are provided in the dance hall, Rancho Grill.

Day 6: FRIDAY 10am: keepsake workshop At the end of a varied week we’ll make our own keepsakes (napkin technique, potato printing, etc.) 3pm: adventure high rope park – gnome park in Sillian

Day 7: Departure. Goodbye, see you next year!
