Day 1: Get to know Saalbach Hinterglemm. The village centres are 4 kilometres apart and are connected by the promenade along the river Saalach. Enjoy a leisurely walk and treat yourself to an afternoon snack at one of the many cafés or restaurants.

Day 2: Learn about proper behaviour in the mountains and interesting facts about the great outdoors – all this with expert instructions from our certified hiking guides at the weekly guided tour on the educational hiking trail.

Day 3: Easy hike along the ridge By taking the cable cars you can effortlessly reach the summit of the Zwölferkogel in Hinterglemm. From there, walk across the Hohe Penhab and further on along the ridge to the Seekar area. The small mountain lake at the Seekar is a perfect place to take a rest.

Day 4: Herbs and alpine flowers hike After the ascent with the Reiterkogelbahn cable cars in Hinterglemm, walk leisurely to the herbs and alpine flowers trail where you will find more than 200 native medicinal herbs and herbs for cooking as well as alpine flowers with explanations about their use and effect.

Day 5: Demanding summit tour to the Spielberghorn The route goes from the village centre of Saalbach and via the Spielberghaus cottage to the Spielbergtörl. Walking further on to the Spielberghorn, which requires a certain degree of surefootedness, you will be rewarded with fantastic views.

Day 6: Beautiful mountain hike up the Tristkogel and to lake Hochtorsee After the demanding ascent to the Tristkogel, walk further on to the unique lake Hochtorsee. You can enjoy your refreshments directly on a rock island in the lake.

Day 7: Panorama hike to Zell am See along the ‘Pinzgauer Spaziergang’ path With the Schattberg x-Press cable cars to the east peak of the Schattberg. From there, walk across the most scenic summits as far as Zell am See. Unique views guaranteed.

Kernleistung: Take part in the free guided hiking tours with our state certified hiking guides.
From the beginning of June until the end of October there will be 10 guided hikes per week. The offer ranges from family hiking tours to summit tours, with tours of all difficulty levels.
