Hiking in the Valley of Fossils

Go on a treasure hunt in Rußbach, the romantic mountain village between Salzburg and the Hoher Dachstein. Here you are awaited by hiking tours amidst almost untouched nature, in bracing mountain air and a view free of mist. From leisurely walking and hiking paths and splendid summit tours to high alpine fixed rope routes – there's something for everyone. On the alpine pastures you can enjoy a hearty platter with lots of local specialities at a cosy mountain hut. With Rußbach's Hornbahn cable cars you can get to the unique hiking region of Dachstein West and "Bruno’s Bergwelt" with ease. Plenty of fun and relaxation can be enjoyed at the Rußbach water park.
