Learning to decipher the secrets of Nature – or what the major has to do with Maier

The nature park is a treasure island full of hidden jewels and cryptic riddles. Off on nature’s treasure hunt! We’ll encounter bears and elks from times long gone, saddles that are actually mountains, water erupting from Ice Age springs from the depths of the Earth. Churchmen – "Pfaffen" – have tried to decipher nature’s secrets for centuries. Names, forms, phenomena, all have something important to tell us. We just have to keep our eyes open whilst hiking and we'll begin to understand – in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park.
